My wife came across this yesterday. Tractor Supply Co. has Stansport Adventure 2 Man Dome Tents for $20.
I had been looking for a cheap lightweight tent for some solo overnights for a while now. I had been thinking of getting a Texsport pup tent. But they went from being 20 bucks to over 28. Since I had the play money this time I decided to pick one up when we stopped to pick up chicken feed.
I set it up after I got it home. Like most "two man" tents, it really only fits two depending on how friendly you and the other person are. But very comfortable for one. I'm 5'9", to keep from touching a wall I will need to sleep diagonally. But there is still plenty of space inside for gear and a dog.
It's a cheap tent. I found a few loose threads on mine that will need to be trimmed up. The green sides are thin enough you can see through them. But it's only about 4 pounds all packed up. After sealing the seams and a little waterproofing I think it could handle light rains. For heavier rain I plan to bring along a Harbor Freight tarp to make a more effective rain-fly.

sounds like a good find. If you're like me, a tent is really just to keep the crawly things and slithering things at bey. I use cheap tents, usually 'A' frames, which I then strip down to bare bones. IE, get rid of the supplied poles and use my trekking poles, get rid of whatever nearly useless cheap rain fly it may have come with and usually the cheap plastic carrying 'case'. Anything to reduce weight. Then I use either my MEST OR BCUSA 7X10 tarp over the whole thing as a rain fly.

They allow chickens in Chemung Co.?I thought they only allowed jailbirds.I may have to pick one of those tents up,but my feet will stick out.
